If you’re just starting an online business, why not do a cannonball and make waves with your entry? Building up your web traffic is just the icing on the cake, because a properly executed Kickstarter campaign will energize your social networks and turn them into word-of-mouth-advertisers, as well as produce thousands if not tens of thousands of dollars in start-up capital. VI) Create backlinks throughout your website’s architecture. Cluster articles and posts under a popular keyword topic, and then proceed to create backlinks throughout your content that references other articles on your site.
Beyond simply increasing your clicks and readership, this strategy has a couple of other advantages to it. First, if you’re monetizing your site through affiliate marketing, a popular strategy is to create an “anchor post” that is then repeatedly backlinked by other posts that focus on great content. This helps to reduce the “spam factor” that many readers might feel towards a site that’s overly saturated with affiliate links.

Whenever one of those predictions comes true, always be sure to create a post that backlinks to the original article. Yeah, I guess you could use that tactic, or in addition to posting on their sites, you could let them know that you’re avidly trying to funnel traffic to them through your own blog roll. Increased traffic and sales conversions are far more likely reason that they might extend a hand of friendship to you.

XIII) Writing an eBook and then creating an affiliate program where bloggers get paid to both sell your work and talk about you. It’s a win-win for both parties involved, and it’s a great way to really yoke the marketing and advertising potential of your blog roll.

When it comes to the “big fish” of your industry, roll out the red carpet and do your best to tap into their readership and brand recognition. When it comes to smaller fish, create a gig on Fiverr and allow people to gain access to your readership and web traffic…for a price.
VIV) Pick a “hot potato” issue within your industry and use it to bait more established bloggers. Find the movers and shakers within your niche; the ones that have the most web traffic and brand recognition. Then…pick a fight with them.
You should of course be respectful, but you should find a topic or issue that they’ve written or commented on, and then take a completely opposite stance. Post or email them the article, and if they take the bait and offer a rebuttal (or at the bare minimum mention you in a blog post), you just drastically increased your exposure.
XV) Get rid of cheap and cheesy images and start using your website’s visual content to funnel traffic to your site. Quality content needs to be coupled with quality images, and one of the key strategies you should utilize is “stamping” your images with the title of your post as well as your URL so that if they get posted to sites such as Pinterest, they can funnel traffic back to your website.

The first thing that you do is find other channels that are related to your niche, and lo and behold, you find a channel that has 300,000 subscribers and 10,000,000 views.
He’s the big fish; you’re the minnow. The question is, how do you get that guy to acknowledge you?
An appeal to authority, that’s how you get him to notice you. Conduct interviews with “experts” within your field, and the reason that I’ve put the term into quotation marks is that it might be a professor at your local college who agrees to sit down with you. He might not be a brand name, but his PhD and teaching position will nonetheless afford him respect and cause a lot of people to pay attention to what he’s saying.
You might not have quantity, but you do have quality. Use these types of interviews as icebreakers when introducing yourself to more established YouTubers. Even though you might not have their presence yet, interviews with experts can nonetheless be leveraged to great effect.
